There is good news on the horizon for Day's of Our Lives fans as Variety is reported yesterday that the NBC and Sony Pictures TV have just struck a deal to extend the life of the show for another 18 month. Earlier rumors had surfaced that Jeff Zucker, CEO of NBC Universal was considering canceling the show altogether. This move wouldn't have really surprised anyone as NBC has shelved the rest of it's daytime soaps lineup over the years and Days of Our Lives remains the last one the network currently airs.
