Excerpt: The husband of a slain Wake County mother found dead in her home more than two years ago is not contesting claims that he is responsible for her death.

According to an order entered Tuesday morning in Wake County Superior Court, Jason Young is defaulting on his right to answer claims in the lawsuit, filed in late October by Michelle Young's mother, Linda Fisher.

According to one of Fisher's attorneys, Jack Michaels, that means he is essentially admitting to the claims.
