Excerpt: A shotgun-wielding, slang-slinging robber received only an offer of food from his confused coed victims.

On Wednesday evening, an armed man forced his way into the apartment of three unsuspecting University of North Texas students and demanded that the women give him some "bread."

The women, who are all around the age of 21, had no idea that the man was using the word "bread" as slang for money and offered him food.

"We thought he was hungry" one of the victims said.
