Ellensburg, Wash. --- Sheriff's deputies have identified a Washington man suspected of robbing a convenience store at gunpoint, with his nine-year-old daughter by his side.
The robbery was caught on surveillance tape.
The Kittitas County Sheriff's Department says it got numerous tips after the video was broadcast in news reports. The suspect is identified as 42-year-old Robert Webb.
Authorities say the man who they believe is Webb approached the counter of an AM/PM Mini Mart Store in Ellensburg around 3 a.m. Tuesday and pulled out a gun and demanded money.
"How anybody could endanger a child like that? You never know how someone is going to react when you pull a firearm out. You don't know how the clerk's going to react, somebody walking in? Absolutely can't even imagine it," said Clayton Myers, Kittitas County Undersheriff.
The night clerk told police he thought the gun was fake and told the robber just that....
