Excerpt: A Jersey City man was arrested early today on charges of exposing himself to a female tenant in his building after he broke into her apartment, left, came back, and left again, reports said.
Norman Solares, 31, of North Street, was charged with burglary, lewdness and unlawful weapons possession, police said.
At 3 a.m., the woman awoke in the bedroom of her first-floor apartment to find Solares, who lives on the second floor, exposing his genitals to her and making sexual advances, reports said.
But Solares, who damaged her door and the door frame to gain entry, left the apartment and went back upstairs to his unit, report said. And the woman went back to sleep, reports said.
But shortly after she woke up and found the man sleeping on the floor next to her bed, reports said.
Solares then woke up and went back upstairs, reports said.
