Red-faced cops have now been given the slip twice in a week by hospitalized inmates they uncuffed for treatment.
The strikingly similar jailbreaks happened within two days of each other.
The most recent escape came at 4:30 a.m. Friday, when a woman arrested for assault was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital to have a gash on her chest treated.
"Her guards took off the handcuffs and she ran," a police source said.
The source said cops don't know the woman's name, and she hadn't even been fingerprinted before her escape.
Two days earlier, accused drug dealer Kevin Lopez, 26, had been taken to Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, in The Bronx, complaining of an injured wrist.
He escaped after his handcuffs were removed for an arm X-ray, cops said.
Both prisoners were still on the lam last night, police said John Doyle.
