Blitz was in Clatsop County Courtroom 200 Thursday, complete with a PowerPoint presentation, to argue why he didn't deserve a speeding ticket.
He argued that he was in no hurry on that particular day when he was stopped by an Oregon State Police trooper. It's just that there was a line forming behind a motorhome as it crossed Saddle Mountain on U.S. Highway 26.
"I decided I was going to move from the last spot in this line to the first spot in this line," he said.
So he moved his BMW 535xi out of line to pass. He said he was able to "immediately perceive" that he had attracted a state trooper's attention.
